JO Jerusalem Elevates Art Basel w/ 3lb Weed Painting
The Luminary NY Artist Got Miami’s Mind Right
I don’t believe in excuses. I believe in manifesting and making shit happen: NY artist JO Jerusalem embodies this train of thought. This man went from taking matters into his own hands (or feet) by hopping a fence to showcase his work at Art Basel to being a main attraction at the same function in a very short period of time. With that said, there are no overnight success stories; this is years of hard work, self-belief, and manifestation exponentially growing (weed in this case) right before your eyes.
At Art Basel 2021, JO Jerusalem created an entire painting out of 3lbs of Marijuana. At an event sponsored by OF THE ART and with weed donated by NY cannabis company TrapXotics, Jerusalem concocted the utter beaut pictured above (and below) with green thumbs. He plans on selling the painting as a physical piece as well as an NFT for the price tag of 420k, donating the proceeds of the sale to a women’s charity.
JO also had his art on display at Spectrum Red Dot Miami with the Jason Perez Art Collective and did live painting shows at the Kimpton Hotel and SLS Brickell Hotel. Witness greatness in action and keep up with JO Jerusalem at the links below:
